Guide Hub
Start here for Free League's tabletop RPG of costly decisions in a hostile future, including play modes, pressure systems, safety expectations, and the full library path.
Getting Started
Learn the premise, first-session loop, Evolved Edition scope, and how a new group can prepare to play before the first alarm sounds.
Crew and Characters
Character Creation
Build a crew member with a useful role, Life Path history, relationships, personal agenda, and a reason to survive the same problem together.
Careers
Compare core careers, Colonial Marine and Company Agent roles, crew coverage, narrative pressure, and the useful friction an incomplete crew creates.
Horror, Combat, and Survival
Stress and Panic
Use stress dice, pushing, Panic, and chain reactions as pressure that follows the fiction instead of a punishment for trying to act.
Combat and Survival
Make zones, initiative, actions, cover, damage, critical injuries, recovery, and retreat serve a plan more useful than winning a gunfight.
Xenomorphs and Creatures
Use core alien species and creature consequences to create tension and decisions without turning horror into an enemy catalogue.
The Frontier
Gear, Weapons, and Equipment
Make practical equipment, weapons, armor, and consumables buy the crew better choices rather than false confidence.
Ships, Space, and Colonies
Turn ship systems, travel, remote settlements, maintenance, and scarcity into the practical dependencies that keep a crew moving.
Setting and Lore
Use the Frontier, governments, corporations, distance, claims, and rumors as immediate pressures that make the next crew decision matter.
Play Modes and Game Mother Tools
Cinematic and Campaign Play
Choose the right social contract for a short, lethal Cinematic scenario or a continuing Campaign crew with jobs, routes, and consequences.
Game Mother Resources
Prepare safety framing, pressure, information flow, horror pacing, and meaningful decisions without protecting a prewritten outcome.
